SAP SharePoint Integration

SAP ArchiveLink & KPro on Microsoft SharePoint Online

Use Microsoft SharePoint Online as a content repository for SAP S/4HANA to store SAP documents relevant for collaboration. Our integration aqilink supports the following scenarios:

  • SAP Incoming Documents

Capture originals (invoices, delivery notes) and link to SAP postings.

  • SAP Outgoing Documents

Store outbound PDFs (invoices, order confirmations) for traceability.

  • SAP DMS

Central document management with versioning via KPro repositories.

  • SAP Attachment

GOS attachments: ad-hoc files linked to business objects.

  • SAP Data Archiving

Supported, but not recommended on SharePoint Online. Use another storage instead, such S3-compatible storages.

  • SAP PrintList

Supported, but not recommended on SharePoint Online. Use another storage instead, such S3-compatible storages.

Content in Context

SAP users work within the familiar SAP environment – SAP GUI or SAP Fiori – completing their daily work without switching to SharePoint Online. With aqilink, storage and retrieval run via SAP KPro/GOS/Attachment Services; documents reside in SharePoint Online and render in SAP’s native viewer. SharePoint users stay in SharePoint (no SAP account required), see the same SAP-linked documents and use full collaboration capabilities – even with SAP metadata replicated to SharePoint Online alongside the document.

Two-Way Process Integration

Built on SAP standard technology, aqilink requires no custom “Z” code or SAP add-ons. In SharePoint, a ready-to-use content model can be deployed, and additional features like “One-Click SAP Access” are provided as deployable .sppkg extensions. From SharePoint Online, you can also trigger SAP workflows, RFCs, or OData services – enabling two-way process integration without switching applications.
